Tenants are the bread and butter of your property business. Once they have moved in, you need to keep them happy, as it’s much easier to keep your current tenants (as long as they are good tenants and look after your property) than it is to find new ones.
Make sure you stay in touch with your tenants so you know what they are thinking. If they are having trouble with the property, make sure they can always get in touch to tell you. Don’t give them any reason to not inform you about issues, as you’re going to want to get those sorted out.
Carry out inspections regularly and attend them when the tenants are there if possible. This isn’t jousted your chance to check on the property, it is also an opportunity to speak to the tenants and find out if they are happy. Follow up on any issues efficiently.
